Meet Kesha: A Pastor’s Wife & Abuse Survivor Finding Healing in Christ

Hey there, I’m Kesha.

I’ve been a pastor’s wife for 14 years, married 22 years to my high school sweetheart, Charles.

But before the healing and hope I’ve found in my current church life, I walked through deep pain: childhood sexual abuse, a violent home, parental neglect, spiritual abuse, and church hurt.

I survived the ghetto of L.A.—but more importantly, I was rescued by Jesus.

Today, I live for Christ and seek to glorify Him in all things.

I’m still on my healing journey, learning to rest in His grace while building oneness, intimacy, and unity in my marriage—despite the wounds of trauma.

I’m the heart behind Bible Thinking Woman—a ministry created to encourage pastors’ wives and support Christian abuse survivors, pointing us to our all-sufficient Savior for healing, freedom, and transformation.

Anchor Scriptures that carry me:
Romans 12:2, 1 Peter 5:7, 2 Peter 1:3, 2 Corinthians 1:3–4

When I’m not teaching and serving our sisters in women’s ministry, you’ll find me spending time with Charles, watching movies, cheering on the Lakers, or running from ducks on our park dates (yes, it’s a thing!).

Are you a pastor’s wife or a survivor? Let’s connect. What do we have in common?
