Things they don’t warn you about when you become a pastor’s wife…
Watching your husband carry pain—especially when it comes from the very people he’s called to shepherd.
You see the late nights.
The discouragement he doesn’t speak of.
The pain he carries home from church.
And you carry it with him—quietly, prayerfully, painfully.
Others may not see it. But God does.
To the pastor’s wife who’s silently supporting her husband through ministry hurt: You are not alone.

Heavenly Father,
Help me be a constant encouragement and support
to my husband.Give me gracious, timely words to uplift his heart in seasons of discouragement.
Strengthen him, comfort him, and sustain him as he faithfully endures the hardships that come with shepherding Your sheep.
